The most important monument in the vicinity of Nové Paky is the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord and St. Nicholas. It is not original – it is brought here from Subcarpathian Russia, now Ukraine. It is a beautiful example of folk architecture. Unfortunately for visitors it is behind a fence on private land.
