Church of St. John the Baptist

The Baroque pilgrimage church of St. John the Baptist stood south of the village of Kočov in the Tachov region. It used to be a popular destination for religious processions, only a torso has been preserved. The ruins of a huge church have been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1992. As part of the Josephine reforms, the church was closed in 1781. In 1832, his demolition was ordered.
