The most romantic chateau in Slovakia
Bojnice Chateau is a romantic castle with partially left originally Gothic foundations of the castle. The castle is built on a travertine rock and consists of an indoor and outdoor castle with three courtyards. The Bojnice Chateau has the adjacent castle park, in which the rare, approximately seven hundred-year-old Lipa of King Matej grows. This linden is probably the oldest tree in Slovakia. The zoo is also part of the castle park. The park continues along the forest park in Strážovské vrchy.
