This large Eastern European country is currently plagued by major unrest and separatist tendencies of numerous Russian minorities in the eastern part of the country (Donetsk). travelers mostly come to three areas – Transcarpathian Ukraine with its grassy mountain ridges offering spectacular views, the capital city of Kiev with its magnificent orthodox churches and the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, which is now annexed by Russia and does not seem to be able to reconnect it back.
