Most tourists head for the „world's most crooked street“ to Lombard Street. Only about 3 miles south of this location is Vermont Street. On this street, more than one kilometer long, there is a section less than 180 m long, where seven narrow bends overcome a steep descent.

Another most twisted street

As in Lombard Street, the Serpentines are lined with gardens and one staircase. This quiet street is not so decorated and is located far from the city center, so you will hardly meet any tourists here.

Seven city serpentines

Vermont Street is much less well known than Lombard Street and is more sought after by photographers and filmmakers. Both streets are different, but both have their own charm, are worth visiting and offer a unique San Francisco experience.
