Twelve centuries of meditation and millions of sta
The fascinating scenery of shapes, colors and forms is Huángshān (黃山, Yellow Mountains), a small area in Anhui Province, which has been the target of artists and people seeking peace and inner harmony for as long as twelve centuries. Huángshān is the place of magnificent granite towers and bizarre rocks, full of sharp peaks climbing first into the sky and falling down to deep down into the deep valleys. A place where pine trees grow on peaks and bare rock walls.
Tangkouzhen
The journey to Huangshan can begin in Tangkouzhen, which can be described as a classic Chinese small provincial town. Here you will find shops, restaurants and canteens of all categories, accommodation and ATMs. And at night, all of this turns into a million light commercials. It is possible to go directly from Tunxi (Huangshan City), but Tangkouzhen will allow you to be among the first to enter the national park and thus avoid the Chinese crowds.
And up and up
There are two ways to get to the top. Take the stairs on foot (and meet masochistic Chinese in flip-flops and boats) or by cable car. It is comfortable, but also expensive and in the queue you will meet an incredible number of people. And in the summer it is supposed to wait up to 3 hours … But the way up the stairs is almost empty in the morning and very beautiful

… but the east is mostly clean and very intense. The only drawback is that it's just like Chinese, so you're never alone here anywhere :) (I mean primarily east and west, during the day quiet places are quite easy to find)
