Holašovice is located about 15 km west of České Budějovice. It is a village heritage reserve, which is known for a unique set of buildings in the style of the so-called South Bohemian Peasant Baroque
Inscription on the UNESCO list
Thanks to its uniqueness, the village of Holašovice was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 1998. This confirmed the exceptional global importance of this monument.
Rectangular semi-trailer
The village was founded in the middle of the 13th century along a rectangular village. The first mention of the village is from 1992, when the village was handed over by King Wenceslas II. Cistercian monastery.

South Bohemian folk baroque
