Holašovice is located about 15 km west of České Budějovice. It is a village heritage reserve, which is known for a unique set of buildings in the style of the so-called South Bohemian Peasant Baroque

Inscription on the UNESCO list

Thanks to its uniqueness, the village of Holašovice was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 1998. This confirmed the exceptional global importance of this monument.
