The path to the steep cliffs SW of the edge of the Serra de Tramuntana is interesting for its mountain scenery and breathtaking finish overlooking the neighboring island of Dragonera.

Coll de Sa Gremola

The starting point is the Coll de Sa Gremola saddle, located at an altitude of 355 m above sea level. We come here by car on the road leading from the town of Andratx to the village of Estellencs.

Homestead

From the car park, take the „Camí d´es Campás“ west. After a few hundred meters, a view towards the coast appears behind the bend.

A comfortable road undulates the mountain landscape, part of which was hit by a forest fire.

Puig de Ses Basses

Behind a small rock break appears the peak of the Puig de Ses Basses, 492 m above sea level, which we will bypass from its northern side.

West Coast

During the next step, a view towards the west coast of the island opens up for us at a few hundred meters.

Tourists

At all times we meet only two couples and one group of tourists. Out of season there is peace here.

Ses Serres

At the signpost at a place called Cas Guixers, continue right up. Soon we have a view of the steep cliffs of Ses Serres.

Above the cliffs

From the north, we bypass the top of Puig de Ses Basses along a narrow footpath and climb a plateau.

Cab Fabioler

On the plateau of Cape Cab Fabioler, turn right and approach the edge of the cliff.

Mirador d´en Josep Sastre

From this viewpoint, also called the „Devil's Balcony“, we look vertically down to a depth of 430 meters. Dragon Island is in the palm of your hand.
