From Přerov nad Labem you can go for a short walk to the local table mountain Přerovská Hůra (237 m above sea level). Along the yellow hiking trail, it is about 1.5 kilometers from the center. The hill is one of the so-called witness mountains, which remember times long past the surrounding landscape. Along the way you have views of the flat Elbe landscape, so take the ascent more as a variety of trips to Přerov than a breathtaking experience

The road from the city center leads for a long time through buildings in a relatively newly established residential area glued almost to the end. After a kilometer of walking, we finally leave the development and on a slowly ascending road we head upwards,

The top of Přerov mountain

If you want to climb to the very top of the mountain, you must leave the hiking trail and walk there on a footpath. The peak is not significant because it is a table mountain

The top plateau of Přerov hůra

The top plateau itself is really large. It is no wonder that there was a fortified settlement here in prehistoric times. You can go back the same way or continue on the footpath to the second mountain – Semická, which is a few meters lower
