Brandýs nad Labem can be found right next to the D10 motorway exit. It is the southern part of the conurbation with Old Boleslav. In the old part of town is a nice castle with a large garden, which is the main tourist magnet of the city. A pilgrimage tourist path and the main Elbe cycle path pass through the town

Access to the castle

There is a paid parking lot next to the chateau and chateau gardens, from where it is a short walk to the chateau building

Castle clock tower

The castle clock tower is the most beautiful part of the castle

Walk along the Elbe

From the chateau we cross a stone bridge, which spanned the mill arm of the river, and after a while the view of the lock opens up. From here we continue along the cycle path along the banks of the Elbe to the beginning of the Ostrůvek forest park

Slalom canal Brandýs nad Labem

From here we take SK Neumanna Street to the city center. We will have a nice view of the local slalom canal

City Hall in Brandýs nad Labem

Church of the Conversion of St. Paul

The circuit closes slowly, we return to the lock. Instead of along the main road, we will walk along FX Procházky Street and see the nice Church of the Conversion of St. Paul
