Area Villahermosa

Villahermosa has a population of more than half a million and is thus the largest city in the state of Tabasco. It is also the capital of this Mexican state. Here you will find the pretty Plaza de Armas with its beautiful palace – Palacio del Gobierno. However, visitors are most attracted by the open-air museum La Venta with huge Olmec heads.
