Svartifoss, the Black Waterfall, is located in the Skaftafell National Park. It is one of the most interesting waterfalls in Iceland. Named after the dark hexagonal columns over which water flows, it was the inspiration for the architectural project of the National Harpa Theater in Reykjavik.
