Place Palaiokastritsas Monastery

The monasteries are located in the town of Palaiokastritsas and if you came to the town only because of the monastery, I recommend going up to it by car as there is free parking. The monastery is one of the smaller ones and currently only a few monks live there. The monastery itself and the museum can be reached in a few minutes and the entrance fee is at your discretion, but the surrounding views of the country are much more interesting, behind which you have to wander along the monastery hill.
