Place Old fortress

The historic old fortress above the city has served to defend the island of Corfu for centuries. Today, most of the fortress houses various institutions. In the area of the fortress there is a church, a café and a museum which are accessible to all. At the top of the fortress there is a lighthouse from which there is a nice view not only of the city but also of the surrounding hills, harbors, sea and land.
