Western peak
Nuptse is a mountain of two completely different faces. From the west (from Kala Patthar and from the way to Everest BC) looks this mountain with height of (7 861 m asl) as incredibly beautiful peak. But from the south, however, you can see that it's actually just a ridge descending from much bigger Lhotse. As a result, none of the seven peaks that Nuptse massif have, is considered as an independent peak and is therefore not usually listed among the highest peaks of the world.
