Lake (5 900 m asl) situated in the crater of the volcano Licancabur (5 960 m asl) is one of the highest located water areas of the world. It is frozen for most of the year, but in the middle of the southamerican summer, the hardys or record gatherers can have a swim here. From the top of Licancabur leads here a beaten path. But only a few people want to walk down here and up again.
