Nevada got its name because of the huge deposits of silver. The capital city is Carson City and the largest city is Las Vegas, which was established as the city of Reno for gambling. Nevada has 3 million inhabitants covering an area of 290,000 sq. Km. Tourists especially attract Las Vegas with their Strip, where they can legally drink alcohol on this street. There is also Hoover Dam and a bit of Death Valley NP
