Choč, 1608m high mountain. The exit point is usually the settlement Valaská Dubová, from where you follow the blue sign to Stredná Poľana, a large meadow from which you can see the landscape for the first time and the top of Choč, which is almost within reach. The ascent is a bit monotonous, but intense, but not demanding, the top passage is secured by chains. From the top there is a panorama of the Tatras, Velká and Malá Fatra with Babí hora in the north. During the week and in the winter there is a relative calm, the exact opposite is the summer months.

Central Poľana

Meadow, from which the first views of the surroundings and the top open. In winter there is over 1m of snow, but thanks to good access to the mountain, people visit a viable path to the top.
