Just a few kilometers south of the regional town of Bánská Bystrica is the small village of Hronsek. It is almost unbelievable that there are three important historical monuments here. The most famous of them is the wooden articular church. Then you will also find the Hronské castle and finally the water castle. All almost next to each other.

Soósovsko-Géczyovský castle

The first of the three important monuments in Hronsek is the local castle. It is built in the Baroque style. It is a pity that it is currently in a relatively impoverished state.

Water castle in Hronsek

The third and last significant historical monument in Hronsek is the Water Castle. It's a pity that the moat is not flooded, it would have more charm.
