In the village there is probably the best accommodation and restaurant far and wide – Pension Kremenec. It is therefore usually booked a very long time in advance. Other accommodation options are really very limited.

Ruthenian minority and its language

The locals are partly members of the Ruthenian minority. Ruthenian is commonly spoken in the village. Ruthenian is spelled in Cyrillic, which in addition to the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet also contains another, which is also found in Russian: You can get acquainted with this language in the Ruthenian-Slovak open-air dictionary, which is installed in a park in the center of the village.
