The church met the conditions (Sopron articles) under which Protestant churches were allowed to be built at this time, ie: 1. all built of wood2. without iron elements in the main supporting structure 3. without the main entrance towards the village4. without tower5. built in one year

The church has a floor plan of a Greek cross (23 × 18 m) and the building is relatively high (11.5 m). The load-bearing wooden frame construction made of solid oak and larch wood with several rows of protective roofs is interesting. The classic carpentry connection technique of the main supporting elements with wooden pins is used. There are 5 entrances to the church, there are 30 stained glass windows around the perimeter. The roof is shingled with three crosses and a rooster – a symbol of Christian vigilance.

The interior is relatively simple and is dominated by a richly carved pulpit. The ceiling is unique with a semicircular vault, which resembles an inverted ship. The rare Baroque organ from 1764 and the altar with unusually interchangeable six altar paintings are worth a visit. The benches are original and thanks to the amphitheater arrangement, the church can accommodate up to 1,100 seated people.
