The longest gorge in the Slovak Paradise
The Velký Sokol gorge is the longest gorge in the Slovak Paradise. It is just over 5 km. It is also the furthest from Podlesok. Of all those gorges, Velký Sokol came to me the least demanding. The passage was in 1898, but the gorge was not accessible to tourists until 1956. It is still, but to be extra careful. And consider going here with the kids.

The dominant feature of this gorge is its rocks, which I estimate are 150 meters high.

It is very narrow and full of trees.

Sometimes overcoming is really difficult and time consuming.
