There are several other places that the guides do not mention much, so these places remain (so far) out of the attention of tourists. This also applies to some NW parts of the island.

Sibora

The suburb of Los Silos, located on the Atlantic coast, is called Sibora. The skeleton of Plejtvák is especially interesting here, there is also a natural swimming pool.

NW coast

Several hotel complexes have been built around Los Silos, and we can also find old factory buildings here. Against the background of all this, the peaks of the Teno Mountains rise.

Lighthouse

Another interesting natural attraction is from Buenavista del Norte along a narrow asphalt road, the street is called Camino la Montaňa. From there we turn to the coast, the landmark is a new lighthouse, which also has a small parking lot. From here we go along the rugged coast to the NE.

El Rayo - Ray
