The deep forested valley of Bobrava, through which flows the meandering river of the same name, was declared a nature park in 1982. It is characterized by long floodplain meadows (some are over a kilometer long). Bobrava is a right-hand tributary of the river Svratka. It springs in the forests west of Domašov. The path through the valley is especially attractive if we leave the marked path from time to time and set out on a tangle of colorful vegetation along a meandering stream.

Bobrava

From the Radostice railway station, we set off along the line on a red marked hiking trail that will take us to the village of Radostice. There we turn sharply left, at first again along the marked path, later we turn along narrow paths to the meandering Bobrava.

Procházka's pond

The narrow path leads further to a nice pond, which is part of the Radosdtický mill.

Bobrava

After the pond we cross, or rather jump, to the left bank of the Bobrava and continue along the meadows to the edge of the forest. In romantic places we get to the tourist signposts near Spálený mlýn.

Historic bridge

It is located in the valley of the river Bobrava near the solitude Spálený Mlýn. An access road to the buildings of the former mill leads through it. It is the last historical bridge that has been preserved in the Bobrava valley. Its construction dates back to the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century. At the bridge there is one of the stops of the local nature trail. A blue marked tourist path passes through here, which leads from Střelice through the Bobrava valley to Želešice.

Burnt mill

There is a written mention of Spálený mlýn as early as 1378. Sometimes in the past the mill burned down and the name „burned“ took over from the 17th century. In 1930, the Francis turbine worked on the mill. At present, the drive is inoperative and the building is used for recreational purposes. Access to the mill is via a historic stone bridge. From there, we take a wide road on the road to the bus stop Nebovidy – Závist, or we can continue through the valley to Želešice.
