Village with thermal springs and water park
Bešeňová is a village in the district of Ružomberok, which is known mainly for its thermal springs and spas. Mineral springs with a temperature of up to 60 ° C have an increased content of calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and iron. These thermal springs are used by the modern Aquapark.
Water park
Thanks to its attractions (giant toboggan tower, artificial waves, wild river, water bar, pools warm up to 40 degrees and much more), the local water park is popular. Admission is not low, but the water park is very popular.
Bešeňovské travertines
Above the village is the protected area „Bešeňovské travertine“, where in several places there are small travertine lakes above and below the road.
Bešeňovské travertines - mineral springs
Mineral springs are freely accessible by the road.
Bešeňovská skála
Above the road rises Bešeňovská skála from where there is a nice view of the valley of the river Váh and the water reservoir Bešeňová.
Bešeňová - village
Thanks to the large number of visitors to the water park and the extensive offer of accommodation, the village will become rich, which can be seen, among other things, in the new, modern Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in the village center.
