Just south of the mighty palaces of Prague Castle is the picturesque Na valech garden. From the garden there are beautiful views of the panorama of Prague – especially the church of St. Nicholas in Mala Strana. Opening hours are from 10 to 18, admission is free. The smaller Paradise Garden is directly connected to the Na valech garden

Lobkowicz and Rosenberg Palace

If you enter the garden through the eastern entrance at the Black Tower, two huge palaces will rise above you, first Lobkowicz Palace and then the even more massive Rosenberg Palace (Institute of Noblewomen). The garden is quite narrow in these places

Old royal palace

Another important building bordering the garden from the north is the Old Royal Palace. The second entrance to the garden is built here. You can climb the stairs straight to the third castle courtyard in front of the Cathedral of St. Welcome.
