The beach in Petra, located at the northern end of the bay, is one of the most picturesque that the island of Lesbos has to offer. From the beach there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and especially of the church of Panagia Glikophilousa towering on top of a rock above the old center of the picturesque village of Petra.
