There are many Notre Dame churches in France and some know only Notre Dame in Paris. The Notre Dame in Rouen, where Joan of Arc was burned, is the largest in France. By 1880, it was the tallest building in the world with its 151-meter-high tower. In the Cathedral there are some of the remains of English King Richard I the Lion Heart. The construction began in 1020 and was completed in 1506
