The former largest bridge in the world
The largest icon of San Francisco is the monumental Golden Gate Bridge. It is almost three kilometers long and until 1964 it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. The most beautiful outlooks to the bridge is from the south – from the beach or the adjacent park. Very often, especially in the morning, is hidden in thick fog.
