Chipiona is a popular swimming resort just off the mouth of significant Spanish river Guadalquivir and Doñana National Park. During off-season it looks a little like a ghost town, but from spring to autumn it is full of life and crowds of tourists. The most famous monuments here are the highest Spanish lighthouse (third in Europe and fifth in the world) and the cathedral situated almost on the beach. It is also possible to see small old town, castle and marina.
