The cross of Princess Pascalina

The cross is located near the obelisk – see. article Kynžvart journey III. about 200 meters. The cross is completely hidden among the trees. He was erected on a small rock, into which the stairs were carved. The cross is surrounded by a wooden railing. Beware of a possible fall.

It is said that Princess Pascalina was torn apart by wild mastiffs. But it's just a rumor. Princess Pascalina died in childbirth. And her father Richard Metternich had this cross built.

When visiting Kynžvart Castle, try to visit this place as well. It is off the hiking trail, completely hidden among the trees.
