Coastal walk from Muttrah to old Muscat
From Muttrah to old Muscat, it is about four kilometers along the promenade along the coastal road. However, most tourists only promenade in Starý Muttrah and visit other attractions on the promenade by car. It always lives here in the early evening
Sightseeing park
About a kilometer from the center of Muttrah is the first stop – a small park with a fountain from where there is a beautiful view of Muttrah. It's more for photography, but in the morning, because otherwise you have the whole city in strong backlight.
Roundabout at Ryiam Park
In another 500 meters is the biggest attraction for locals – Ryiam Park. From the roundabout there is a nice view of the mountains, which look quite dramatic that they are only 100 meters above sea level.

Thanks to the rock, the view is not completely circular, but it is still worth it. The entrance gate to old Muscat can already be seen on the horizon

Another of the parks can be seen across the bay – Khalbu. He is no longer directly on the Corniche, but he would probably be worth a visit.
