This photoreport is continuation of beautiful boat trip from the resort of Marmaris. The shorter version of the trip is described in a separate photoreport, so this part is devoted to the northern part, where larger vessels offer a longer trip. Trip offers differ not only in the length, but also in number of stops, stops at particular places (but they are mostly the same), whether lunch and free drinks are included and however also in the price.

After leaving the wide bay in Kumlubük boat traffic dramatically drops and the surrounding countryside is already wild without human settlements, however, except for the cove in Çiftlik. You can not only see beautiful bays, but you can also swim in a cave or enjoy the surrounding few-hundred high mountains. Boats usually arrive back to Marmaris at about 18 hours, i.e. the whole trip takes about 8 hours.

Small beach behind Kumlubük

There is a nice small beach close behind Kumlubük where cruise ships occasionally stop for swimming. Otherwise, more two kilometers long footpath through the woods leads here from Kumlubük. By only a few people go here on this path. On the horizon is still visible sharp ridge of mountains that separates the civilized part of the peninsula from the wild part. The highest mountain in the very right has nearly 800 meters above sea level.

Large cave

A little farther on is another popular stop – a large cave in the limestone massif. You can also swim into the cave.

The second cave

Just a bit further there is another cave, which looks at first glance just like a crack in the rock, but it is also quite deep.

Wild coast

After bypassing the cape opens the view on the other wilder side of the mountains.

Robinson´s beach

Grilled meat for lunch is usually served on the ship mostly in the bay „emerald waters“ at robinson's beach where you can have a wonderful swim.

The mountain ridge

After leaving Robinson's beach you will continue in emerald waters in the direction of amazing bay Çiftlik. Directly above the sea rises here in its entire glory high limestone ridge.

Cliffs before Çiftlik

After more than two hours of sailing with breaks for swimming the boat finally approaches one of the most beautiful bays on this trip – Çiftlik. This bay is covered in a separate photoreport, so we will continue on with the cruise here.

Bay Pregnant Church

The farthest place of this „longer“ trip looks like a small fjord. „Pregnant church“ is named after the ruins in the hills above the bay.

Swimming in the bay Pregnant Church

If you are lucky and you are in the only boat in the bay, you can enjoy here quite a romantic atmosphere and great swimming.

The way back

Then follows the way back to Marmaris. Fortunately, there is one more stop on the plan. Anyway, the sun has shifted a lot in the meantime, so the views are exactly in backlit.

Kadirga Bay

Last stop for swimming is in the bay Kadirga. Here are just a small robinson´s beaches. The most beautiful view here is of a rock that looks like a hat.

Around the lighthouse

Almost the last nice view before arriving back in Marmaris is of the forested peninsula with a small lighthouse.
