Above the town of Kynžvart on Hradní vrch there is the highest castle ruin in the Czech Republic – Kynžvart Castle. A yellow tourist sign will take you to it.

Kynžvart Castle

The castle was founded by King Wenceslas I and completed by his son Přemysl Otakar I. It served as a royal castle guarding the trade route between Bečov and Cheb.
