Area Weinviertel

This part of Austrian territory is located in the northeast of the country. On three sides the Weinviertel is bounded by the rivers Dyje, Morava and Danube. Everything is mainly about wine. Most common are the varieties of Veltliner Green, Zweigeltrebe or Blue Portugal. Part of the Weinviertel area is the Veltliner Land (Veltliner Land) around the Poysdorf, Falkenstein and Herrnbaumgarten wine centers.
