The most beautiful lake in Bali
Batur Lake (1,034m asl) is the largest lake in Bali. It fills the eastern part of the giant caldera, above which the still active Batur volcano (1,717m asl). According to the size of the caldera, it is estimated that the original volcano before the explosion had more than 3,800 meters above sea level and was the highest volcano in all of Indonesia. The lake itself has a size of 7 * 2.5 km and is rich in fish.
