To the southeast of the capital of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – Wroclaw, you will find the ancient district town of Swidnica. The center of town is the Market Square with the town hall. Among the most important other monuments of the city is the Church of Peace, which is the largest wooden Baroque church in Europe. Thanks to that, it is registered in UNESCO.

The historic city center is located around the nice main square Rynek. As in other Polish cities, the center of the square is occupied by a large town hall with a nice tower. It is possible to climb the tower and get a nice view of the city

The church is very nice, it can be bypassed from all sides, but thanks to the mature trees and cemetery tombstones, it is quite difficult to take photos.
