Yiti is a small fishing village. The fact that it is basically just a short distance from Muscat has completely stopped time here. If you want to interrupt the journey for a while or take a bath, a pretty good tip for a stop. As a small bonus, you can also see an interesting rock

Road to Yiti

From the main road leading to Bandar Khiran it is about 4km before you reach the fishing village by the sea. You will drive to the cell through a picturesque oasis valley on nice asphalt

Oasis valley

The road is lined with palm trees and nice mountains rise above it – he doesn't even want to believe that they are only about 130 meters above sea level.

Rock in Yiti

The main reason why locals go here for trips is this rugged rock, an island jutting out of the sea. At low tide it is almost accessible by sand spit. It reaches it after about half a kilometer of driving on gravel

Fishing village in Yiti

So here you will feel that you are at the end of the world, some post-apocalypse could easily be filmed here: car wrecks, abandoned houses, binec. But the locals have at least a whole day of debate in a shady shelter.

Yiti beach

The beach in Yiti is almost a kilometer long, so if you have the strength in the Omani heat you can miss from the village a few hundred meters and the beach is just for you
