The Museum of Cosmonautics is located next to the VDNCh metro station. It is located in the lower part of the Monument to the Conquerors of the Cosmos, a titanium structure 100 m high, at the top of which stands a rocket heading into space. The largest part of the museum's expositions is dedicated to Yuri Gagarin's first flight into space in 1961. Here you will also find the famous dog crew Bělka and Strelka, stuffed with the first live visitors to the orbit.

In front of the monument, as on the Street of Fame, there are stars on the bollards, commemorating the individual achievements of the conquest of space, and around the perimeter of the sidewalk are statues of personalities who deserved them.
