Ascent to Bosanski Maglić

On the way from the Prijevor saddle to Trnovačko jezero. The Prijevor saddle is the last option where you can leave your car. Then we walked for about two hours through the beautiful landscape to the lake, where there was the possibility of camping. Along the way, the border is legally crossed from BiH to Montenegro.

The journey stretches slightly for more than two hours, as there is still something to look at and something to take pictures of.

The next morning, the situation did not look the most favorable. It was beautiful downstairs, but the peaks were all in the fog. We said we would try and at least get where it goes.

We gradually climb above Trnovačko. The plan is to walk to the ridge and find out what the situation looks like for the trip to Maglič.

After an hour of walking through the thick fog, we finally climbed to the top. The views were beautiful … about ten meters!

The return trip was about two activities. Looking down with wide eyes and open mouth at the lake, while looking underfoot so that the way down would not be accelerated by a steep fall.

In the evening, the sun was projected on the rocks.

You can camp by the beautiful lake for a small fee. There is a cottage with a cheerful manager Miloš, where you can buy some beer. Along with us, there were about five more tents. Four of them Czech. According to the administrator Miloš, „Czech invasion“!

If beer is not enough, you can take a walk of about twenty minutes to the mountain huts, where local herders sell two types of cheese and bread. He produces everything on site in really very modest sheds.

After another night at the lake, the weather cleared and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time, so we had to go back to the Prijevor saddle.

He constantly enjoys the beautiful mountains on the way back.
