The gigantic Borobudur Stupa, more than a thousand years old, is undoubtedly the most important monument in all of Indonesia and at the same time it is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. This nine-storey building looks from a distance a bit like a strange pyramid. In addition, you will see several hundred Buddha statues and thousands of beautiful reliefs. This unique building is located far from other buildings and is also surrounded by a pleasant park, which adds to the charm.
