Country Hesse

Hesse is best known for its European financial capital, Frankfurt am Main, which offers the ideal combination of a picturesque historic center in contrast to the massive skyscraper skyline. However, the capital of Hesse is not Frankfurt, but Wiesbaden. Hesse also boasts famous vineyards lining the Rhine, half-timbered villages and many castles and chateaux.
