If you find yourself in the south of Gran Canaria, I recommend buying a catamaran ride along the coast. Trips can be purchased, for example, in the city of Puerto Rico. These are usually half-day trips with swimming and refreshments, some even with an entertainment program.
Let's board
Our trip begins. It's time to board. Our catamaran is one of the smaller ones on offer in Puerto Rico, but the more intimate our voyage will be. We are accompanied all the time by a cheerful crew, with whom you just can't get bored.
The journey begins
Our journey begins in the port of Puerto Rico. Here we are given a place on a catamaran and also safety briefing from an excellent crew.
Amadores
We pass our resort Amadores.
Mogán
We sail around the historic port of Mogán, which we visited a few days before.
Destination of the voyage
We find ourselves at Playa Perchel. The bay is very suitable for diving due to the number of fish used to feeding from regularly arriving catamarans. At the same time, it is possible to ride a „speedboat“ to a nearby cave, however, I definitely do not recommend taking a camera or mobile phone for this ride.
Water sports
Not only within the catamaran, but also in coastal resorts, there is a large selection of water sports, from jet skis to parachutes to „banana“ rides.
Back in port
Unfortunately, everything ends, so we return to Puerto Rico and from there on foot along the promenade to Amadores.
