Around a half-forgotten peninsula
Kalo Limani is a half-forgotten peninsula with a beach of the same name on one side and a small port on the other. In addition, you can take a short but nice walk from here to the view of ancient Antissa and the surrounding beaches. It is very pleasant to spend half a day here.
View of the town of Skalochori
The gravel road to Kalo Limani starts at the picturesque town of Skalochori.
View of Moni Ypsiloú
As you descend the gravel, you can enjoy the views of the semi-desert inland of Lesbos. On the horizon you can see the extinct volcano Ordymnos (501m above sea level) on which is built the oldest local monastery Moní Ypsiloú
View of Antissa
The view of the continuation of the coast is also nice. The small peninsula, where the ancient city of Antissa used to be, is very significant. In the distance you can see the town of Gavatas.
Kalo Limani beach
Kalo Limani Beach is located in a small cove and is usually almost completely quiet. The only minor aesthetic problem is untidy piles of seagrass.
Kalo Limani
Even when viewed from the other side, it can be seen that there are only a few holiday homes and nothing more. From there you can go for a short walk to the lookout rock to other bays.
The port of Kalo Limani
If you go from the beach about 200 towns further along the road, you will get to the other side of this small peninsula, where it owns a small settlement Kalo Limani and the port. Here you can watch the work of fishermen and the peaceful life that flows here. However, it is no longer for swimming
A fairytale tavern
There is also a beautiful house with a small tavern. The question is where to look for your customers.
Views from the harbor
From the harbor there is a beautiful view of the cliffs to the east of Kalo Limani.
