Swimming at Sunrise Beach
East Beach on Ko Lipe Island
One of the two largest beaches on the island of Ko Lipe is called Sunrise – so it is not surprising that it is located on the eastern side of the island. Here you will find a variety of accommodation options and a beach suitable for swimming even at low tide. Unfortunately, there are too many boats anchored in some parts of the beach, so sometimes you feel like you are in a port. Swimming here is still very nice and you have a view of two small islands, where you can go by kayak.
Kathalae Beach - Serendipity
At the southernmost point of the Sunrise mantle is a small beautiful cove called Kathalae Beach. The small island of Ko Usen can be seen from here. This little beach basically belongs to Serendipity Resort Koh Lipe , which is a resort built on the slope of a hill – which, of course, may bother someone. However, the view is beautiful and the individual cottages are generous.
The beach at Ten Moons Lipe Resort
Just a few meters away is another accommodation – Ten Moons Lipe Resort . There are quite a few boulders on the beach here, but you can easily find paths to the sea here – so it doesn't matter.
The southern end of Sunrise Beach
From Ten Moons you can climb over small rocks or swim around them to reach the southern end of Sunrise Beach. The more luxurious Idyllic Concept Resort is located here. It's a quieter part of the beach with a minimum of boats + the resort also has its own pool, which can be a major thing for some.
Beach at Casteway Resort
Then there are several smaller resorts next to each other such as Anda Lipe Resort , Cabana Lipe Beach Resort , Castaway Resort Koh Lipe and Coco Beach Bungalows . The beach and swimming are also nice here, but the boats.
Sea To Moon Lipe
Further to the north there is a more pleasant beach. At Sea To Moon Lip e Resort , there is a boat taxi station that goes to Ko Adang.
Beach at Andaman Resort
Further on, the beach turns west and is its most pleasant part. A minimum of anchored boats, a wide beach, great swimming and a wonderful view of the opposite island of Ko Adang. The extensive Andaman Resorta Cabana Lipe Beach Resort adjoins the beach.
