Trip to the southern end of the island of Koh Samet
Almost like the end of the world
The Thai island of Koh Samet narrows south to almost complete noodles just 200 meters wide. The road leads almost to its very end, from where you can go to two viewpoints – west and east viewpoint. There is also a small beach Ao Toel
Road through the woods
By taxi or on foot you will reach the end of the road, where there is a small visitor center. From here, two short paths lead through the forest (always about 200 meters) to the western and eastern viewpoints
Koh Samet West View Point
After a few minutes walking through the woods, we are on the western lookout. It is basically just a rock plateau, about 100×100 meters with hundreds of rock men. About 650 meters from us is another small island, perhaps part of Koh Samet before the water level rises

The west coast of Koh Samet is rocky, so almost all beaches can be found in the east of the island

On the way we return and after the second we reach the eastern viewpoint. Here you will find a few swings on lonely trees

Looking back you can also see the southernmost small resort on the island with Ao Karang beach
Ao Toel beach
From the eastern viewpoint you can reach the small wild beach of Ao Toel, of course the southernmost beach of the island
