Altitude sickness: the Lower Mustang area in the Kali Gandaki river valley is only about 3,000 meters above sea level, so you don't have to worry about mountain sickness in the first place. The only critical place is in the area of the very high Thorong la pass, where tourists flow into the Lower Mustang from Manang.
