Greece, despite the arrival of migrants on some of the islands (mostly adjacent to Turkey), is a safe country. The biggest threat is so relatively frequent earthquakes.
Earthquake
Greece lies in a seismically active zone. Almost every year there is one recorded earthquake. The most tragic, however, were already in the early ancient times and claimed tens of thousands of victims.
Diseases and health problems
In Greece, most tourists have problems with high heat (over the summer months).
Sunstroke and heatstroke
Over the summer months when the temperature often climbs over 40 degrees Celsius, do not underestimate drinking regime and headgear. Midday siesta, you should stick with local and be hidden in the shadows.
