West of Sydney city center is the beautiful Darling Harbor. It is a resting and sightseeing place. Thanks to its location, it is best to be here in the late afternoon, when the skyscrapers in Sydney are beautifully lit. Thanks to the fact that there is also a huge Australian National Maritime Museum, there are also beautiful exhibits.

Sydney Monorail

The port is a short walk from the center, so you can walk to it, or try the local single-track railway, which also has a stop here.

Early evening in Darling Harbor

The early evening really has the best atmosphere in Darling Harbor. We returned here several times and walked and enjoyed the view of the local skyscrapers on the other side of the harbor

Pyrmont Bridge

The Pyrmont Bridge spans the small Cockle Bay and borders the harbor. Monorail leads him. It has a stop at both ends of the bridge. From here you can also see the tallest building in Sydney – 309 meters high Sydney Tower

HM Bark Endeavor Replica

The most beautiful „exhibit“ in Darling Harbor is HM Bark Endeavor. A replica of Captain Cook's famous ship.

Life in the port

Darling Harbor is a popular place for walkers and cyclists alike. You can spend a lot of time here if you enjoy boats at least a little

Food Court in Market City

Not far to Darling Harbor is a shopping center – Market City, where you can eat cheaply in a huge food court. It really lives here over lunch
