Animal paradise
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is directly adjacent to the Serengeti National Park. The area is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List twice. Since 1979 as a natural heritage and since 2010 also as a cultural heritage, due to the Maasai living here. The most important part of this protected area is the Ngorongoro Crater (more precisely, the caldera), which created a volcano here 2 million years ago. It is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and has the largest concentration of African wildlife.
